Celebrating Talent and Agribusiness Empowerment at SONY Awendo

The Geno Epilepsy Center for Empowerment is feeling incredibly grateful today, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful partnership with the Kiserem Epilepsy Foundation and five other amazing collaborators who have supported us along the way. Yesterday at South Nyanza Sugar Company (SONY) Awendo, we witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of the Talent and Agribusiness Project, a key initiative empowering our clients to gain valuable skills and become self-reliant.

As we approach our 4th anniversary, we reflect on the progress and achievements made through this initiative. The project was designed to offer clients practical hands-on experience in agribusiness, helping them create sustainable livelihoods, and it has grown beyond our expectations.

Take a look at our thriving poultry project👇👇! These chickens, nurtured and cared for by none other than our talented and dedicated Elizabeth, are a testament to the power of hard work and perseverance. Elizabeth’s care and attention to detail have made these chickens not only healthy but also genuinely happy! Her talent and passion are undeniable, and her contribution is invaluable to the success of this program.

Elizabeth, we see you! We are proud of your resilience, commitment, and the gift you bring to the project. Keep shining—you inspire us all!

As we look forward to celebrating our journey and the milestones we’ve achieved, we want to thank everyone who has supported and believed in this project. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of people with epilepsy, helping them build brighter futures through talent, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

Here’s to many more years of success, growth, and impact!
